F.O.C.U.S. Week: Focus On Creating Ur Self in Open Circle’s Reflection Circles, 3rd week of the month

Live Awake Outdoor Circle: Tuesday, Mar 21, 12:30-1:20pm, in person

  • Compassion for self when you fear: Try story-telling from the perspective of fear (using writing or drawing) to ask: “What story does my fear tell from the perspective of the fear?” And how can I bring compassionate presence to my fears?

Mindfulness Circle: Thursday, Mar 23,  4:30-5:20pm, in person

  • Practicing Compassionate Presence with RAIN: Join us for this self-compassion practice to support yourself in the challenges of this busy time of term. When encountering fear or self-criticism, the RAIN meditation can help to approach our suffering with kindness, by Recognizing what we’re feeling, Allowing it to be there, Investigating what the most vulnerable parts of us need, and offering Nurturing presence to ourselves.

Body Mind Spirit Reflection Circle: Friday, Mar 24, 1:30-2:20pm, in person

  • Take a line for a walk to explore boundaries: Try guided collaborative art making that starts off with simple random lines and ends up in story-telling. Curious? Come try it this week, connect with others, explore boundaries in relationship, and get to know yourself in a new way. No artistic experience needed (we can all draw lines!).
