Wellness Week in Open Circle’s Reflection Circles

What fills your cup? What drains you? A safe space to connect with other students and explore what enlivens and centers you. Experience mindfulness practice, creative expression, journaling, and discussion.

Attend any or all of the sessions:

Body Mind Spirit Circle

Wed Jan 29, 3:30-4:20pm, MUSC 220

Calming the Nervous System: Learn and practice tools to reset your nervous system, fill your cup, and build your resilience during challenging or stressful times. Try exercises to notice and heal thoughts and anxieties that get in the way of being centered and stretching outside your comfort zone.

Mindfulness Circle

Thursday Jan 30, 2:30-3:20pm, MUSC 212, Spiritual Care and Learning Centre (after entering, 2nd room on the left)

What brings you joy? What drains you? Experience a guided meditation to bring attention to what fills your cup, bringing vitality, life energy, and wellbeing into your life. Notice what drains you and gets in the way of whole-hearted living. Explore how to set boundaries to fill your cup in daily life.

 Live Awake Outdoor Circle

Friday, Jan 31, 2:30-3:20pm, Circle of rocks behind Hamilton Hall (Register to receive location updates for inclement weather and map directions to the circle of rocks)

Hike to De-stress in Nature: Find calm and strengthen your inner resources through guided mindfulness practices and the natural world. We’ll keep it moving to stay warm, with a mindful walk in Cootes Paradise. Share and learn from others about how to destress during stressful times.

Required Screening

To attend circles, review our Screening Checklist  If you are feeling unwell or had COVID-19/exposure, please do not attend. Exception: if you were sick within the last 10 days but your symptoms have improved for 2 days, you are welcome to attend if you wear a mask. (masks available)
